• AIMT has been awarded "VIDYA RATTAN AWARD" by the International Institute of Education and Management at a function in Delhi on April 10,2003.

• Institute has been awarded with "ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD" in 2007 by Indian solidarity Council Association, New Delhi.  

• A National Seminar was organized by the MCA department on the topic “Emerging Trends in IT Sector- Issues and challenges” on March 14 2009. Sh. Mohinder Kumar IAS, Commissioner inaugurated the Seminar and many learned Professors and Lecturers from various Universities presented their thought provoking papers and views.

• A Management Fest was organized by the MBA department named as “GEMS 2009- Prove your Worth” on April 9, 2009. Smt. Ramankanta Ex. Principal, Arya Kanya Mahavidyala, Shahbad graced the function with her precious presence as Chief-guest.

• A Two Days workshop on Personality Development was organized on November 19-20 in the Institute premise. Dr. Sushil Kansal from S.D. College, Ambala Cantt, Dr. Manju Arora for G.G.S Hospital, Banur and Mrs. Supriya Bhave from Hero mind mine, Ambala City delivered their veteran talks to the students.

• The institute organized a Mega Job fest to provide jobs even during the recession period to provide 100% placement assistance for MBA/MCA students. Placements 2008-09 were marked by the participation of the corporate with whom we have shared strong bond over the years, as well as by the presence of organizations that were making their visits to the campus. Participants in placements 2008-09 include companies from  OATI, Mohali, NPCL, N-PULSE ZONE, RELIABLE INVESTMENTS, COMPETENT SYNERGIES, NVISH SOLUTIONS, CLUB MAHINDRA, BAJAJ ALLIANZ, SPICE, RELIANCE ADBG, MY FUTURE INVESTMENT, HDFC LIFE INSURANCE, PANACEA, GODREJ, BHARTI AXA, CMC, CIPLA Ltd, INDIA BULLS, SHAREKHAN Ltd. Dr. MOREPEN.

• Industrial visits are a regular feature of AIMT as a part of the Industrial Training & Placement activity for students. This feature gives a practical exposure to the students & helps them to relate theoretical concepts with real life work and realities. The Industry visited recently is HMT Pinjor.    

• MCA and MBA students of AIMT went to Vaishno Devi and  Kulu Manali on 3 days trip. They enjoyed the excursion with lot of sight seeing and the trips were very adventurous.         

• 3 days AICTE SPONSORED  National Seminar was organized by the MBA department on the topic “Emerging facets of Management -Issues & Challenges” on 6-8 Nov,2009. Sh. Ajit M. Sharan, IAS, Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Govt. of Haryana  inaugurated the Seminar and many learned Professors and Lecturers from various Universities presented their thought provoking papers and views.
